Abstract

The report contains a number of articles on imanin -- a new antibiotic preparation from St. John's wort. Data are presented on imanin, its effect on some physiological systems of man and animals, on tobacco mosaic virus and on the tobacco plant itself, on the effectiveness of its use in clinical practice and on the chemical nature of biologically active substances from St. John's wort.
