Abstract

An attempt is made to describe both the methods commonly employed and those used for rapid diagnosis and for detecting pathogenic microorganisms in the environment. The handbook is intended for medical microbiologists working in clinical laboratories, sanitary-epidemiological stations, and other institutions concerned with the laboratory diagnosis of infectious diseases.
