AN INVESTIGATION OF INDIVIDUAL SUSCEPTIBILITY TO INTERFERENCE.

Abstract

Since 1948, a major program of research concerned with interference in psychomotor performance has been underway in the Psychology Laboratory at the State University of Iowa. The chief aim of the work has been to determine whether or not there is a trait or tendency, tentatively called susceptibility to interference, which is possessed to a greater or lesser degree by individuals in the general population.
