FIRST IN THE USSR.

Abstract

The article describes the use of the first induction furnace and electric resistance furnace in the USSR at the Iol'chuginsk plant for nonferrous metals. The inductor construction was changed with an improvement in production and a waste reduction. High frequency generators were no longer needed.
