THE SPECTRA OF LARGE SCALE ATMOSPHERIC FLOW AT 100 MB,

Abstract

The spectra of meridional and zonal kinetic energy at 100 mb are computed. The day-to-day variations of ultra-long waves are also studied and discussed. The changes of circulation pattern at 100 mb are mainly due to the variation of waves with wave numbers lower than three. (Author)
