ESTABLISHMENT OF STANDARDIZATION DATA FOR MONEL AND K-MONEL FASTENERS

Abstract

The report standardizes method for assuring proper bolt tension. Prestressing experiments include the micrometer, torque measurement, and angular turn of the nut methods. Both through bolting and set-stud bolting assemblies are investigated.
