Abstract
The object of the invention is a device for breaking the diaphragm of a gas-dynamical shock tube, which is the mechanism of destruction of the diaphragm, is different in that, to simplify the design and obtain high reproducibility of the rupture pressure of unpolished diaphragms, the mechanism of destruction is made in the form of knives placed directly behind the diaphragm in the transverse cross section of the tube perpendicular to one another and forming a wedge-shaped edge at their point of intersection.
