EFFECT OF THE DEGREE OF ELONGATION OF POLYMETHYLMETHACRYLATE (PMMA) ON THE MAGNITUDE OF THE SECOND MOMENTS OF A NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE SPECTRUM (YAMR),

Abstract

An autodyne NMR spectrometer was designed which incorporates a quartz frequency stabilization system in order to avoid difficulties inherent in systems requiring the working sample to be placed in the resonator coil. The device was used to investigate the increase of the second magnetic moment of poly(methylmethacrylate) with elongation of the sample.
