ELECTRODELESS PLASMA EXPERIMENTS,

Abstract

The design of a suitable electrodeless discharge tube involves a knowledge of how the various parameters of the gas and the geometry chosen affect the development of the discharge. As the geometries involved are complicated and not amenable to calculation, the experimental discharge tubes which have been operated were studied to determine the effects.
