NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF SOME PROBLEMS OF GAS FLOW,

Abstract

A description is given of the numerical calculation of the potential flow in the subsonic and transonic part of a Laval nozzle, the method of computing the unsteady one-dimensional flow during explosions in the gas, the solution of the problem concerning the flow of a supersonic stream of conducting gas around blunt magnetized bodies and, finally, a calculation scheme of the numerical method of characteristics by layers, suitable for being applied to the case of calculating the flow around bodies under an angle of attack.
