HYPERSONIC FLOW AROUND AXISYMMETRIC BODIES FLYING AT AN ANGLE OF ATTACK,

Abstract

The report presents the solution of the problem of angle-of-attack flow around axisymmetric bodies by an ideal gas moving at hypersonic velocities. The problem is solved by the method of expanding the desired flow characteristics in a series in the parameter epsilon = (gamma-1)/(gamma +1), where gamma is the adiabatic coefficient. The solution is obtained in quadratures in a first approximation. (Author)
