VISCOMETRIC FLOWS OF NON-NEWTONIAN FLUIDS.

Abstract

A simple analysis of certain viscometric flows of incompressible, isotropic, non-Newtonian fluids is given. In contrast to the procedure used in the original calculations, the method employed in the present paper involves only the most elementary concepts of continuum mechanics. (Author)
