THE CAPABILITIES OF UHF POWER TRANSISTORS.

Abstract

An assessment of the thermal and electrical behaviour of UHF power transistors is made and compared with measurements on the best devices at present available. It is concluded that a transistor with a dissipation of 50 watts and a power gain of 6 db at 400 Mc/s is just about within the limits of present-day technology. (Author)
