RESEARCH DATA ON THE STANDARDIZATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS IN THE SHORT AND ULTRASHORT WAVE RANGES,

Abstract

The conclusion is drawn that an intensity of 20 v/m in the short-wave range may therefore be recommended as the permissible threshold. An evaluation study of the effectiveness of the protective measures introduced on the authors' recommendation for the benefit of workers operating within electromagnetic fields in the communications industries and industries engaged in the heat treatment of dielectrics showed that the adopted measures reduced the effects of radiation to permissible levels and therefore may be recommended as standards for other industries.
