CLUTTER MODEL FOR AEW RADAR DESIGN

Abstract

The report provides a clutter model based on currently available data, and is intended to be used in the design and evaluation of AEW radar techniques. It presents expected values of clutter amplitude as related to antenna depression angle, radio frequency, and polarization of the transmitting and receiving antennas. It also indicates typical doppler spectra.
