THE EFFECT OF SIMULATED FISSION PRODUCTS IN THE INTER-ELECTRODE SPACING OF A THERMIONIC DIODE.

Abstract

The effect of iodine impurities on the tantalum emitter of a diode are shown photographically. The development of the Mark III and IV systems are shown, and the preliminary experiments on the vapor deposited tungsten surfaces are discussed. (Author)
