LANGUAGE AND AUTOMATA.

Abstract

In this research, various algebraic approaches to automata theory are generalized and the scope of algebraic results applicable to automata theory enlarged. It is hoped that this strengthened association between automata theory and abstract algebra will encourage the participation of more algebraists in automata theory research.
