BISTATIC TARGET SIGNATURES AND THEIR ACOUSTIC RECOGNITION; A SUGGESTED ANIMAL MODEL,

Abstract

On the basis of experimental evidence, it is concluded that distinctive geometric and aspect target cues exist in the echoes from a solid body, and that a combination of broadband acoustic envelope correlation and harmonic agreement ratio may be representative of the information processing system of an animal system.
