INDETERMINATE ELASTIC, WORKHARDENING BEAMS.

Abstract

An integral equation is established for the rate of change of the bending moment in an indeterminate elastic, workhardening beam that is caused by a given rate of loading. Methods of solving this integral equation are discussed and illustrated by examples.
