NON-EXISTENCE OF A LEVEL AT 1.35 MEV IN 33S,

Abstract

A natural sulfur target was bombarded with 2.541 MeV deuterons and the emitted protons were observed with a magnetic spectrometer. The peak tentatively attributed earlier to a level at an excitation energy of 1.35 in sulfur-33 is shown to be due to levels in sulfur-34 at excitation energies of 4.08 and 4.12 MeV. (Author)
