THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF CITY PLANNING RESIDENTIAL LOCATION MODELS.

Abstract

The Los Angeles Department of City Planning is engaged in a Mathematical Model Development Program. As an initial step in this program, it is planned to obtain and adapt to Los Angeles an existing residential location model. The University of Pennsylvania Residential Location Model is presently being investigated and a brief description of this model is presented.
