AN INTRODUCTION TO MERCURY PROGRAMMING FOR PUNCHED CARD INPUT AND OUTPUT.

Abstract

The report outlines the basic system characteristics and programming requirements for the punched card input and output systems of the Mercury computer. The card programs consist of a mixture of Mercury Autocode instructions and Mercury machine code instructions. Some knowledge of the latter is required for complete understanding of the content of the report. (Author)
