THE FUNCTION OF WAVE HEIGHT DISTRIBUTION IN A CONFUSED SEA,

Abstract

The analysis makes it possible to conclude that the elements of wave motion are distributed in accordance with the normal law, if the number of observations is great. If wind waves are accompanied by swell waves, a family of distribution curves is obtained. (Author)
