Analytical Procedures for Predicting the Mechanical Properties of Fiber Reinforced Composites. Part II.

Abstract

Work previously reported on the development of procedures for the calculation of the elastic properties of and stresses in reinforced composite materials is continued. Results are reported for both the hexagonal and the rectangular array of fibers. Results on the elastic properties of and stresses in laminated plates and cylindrical shells are also reported.
