CHEMICAL ASPECTS OF OXIDATION RESISTIVITY OF HYDRAULIC BRAKE FLUIDS: A STUDY OF 3-METHOXY BUTANOL-2.

Abstract

The object of the investigation was to synthesize 3-methoxy butanol-2 and to characterize its properties. The structure was elucidated on the basis of stereoisomerism and infrared measurements. The interrelation with hydraulic brake fluid stability is demonstrated. (Author)
