X353-5B AND X376 DESIGN SUMMARY REPORT

Abstract

Installation studies for compatibility of the X353-5B and X376 propulsion systems to the XV-5A aircraft are described as well as the aerodynamic mechanical design aspects of he lift fan system. Discussions are centered around the changes to the fans developed beyond contract DA 44-177-TC- 584.
