ARTHROPOD TISSUE CULTURE. A BRIEF OUTLINE OF ITS DEVELOPMENT AND DESCRIPTIONS OF SEVERAL OF ITS APPLICATIONS,

Abstract

The development of arthropod tissue culture is outlined, with emphasis placed on lines of cells continuously propagated. Several results using this new laboratory tool at NAMRU-2, such as for arbovirus and microfilarial development, are presented. Examples of other applications and potentials are also listed. (Author)
