EFFECT OF THE MOTION OF THE NUCLEUS ON THE FINE AND HYPERFINE STRUCTURE OF TERMS.

Abstract

Formulas to allow for the effect of motion of the nucleus on the fine and hyperfine structure are derived. Numerical results, including the isotope shift in the fine structure, are given for the carbon atom in the ground configuration. (Author)
