ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF A PLASMA.

Abstract

The work encompassed both equilibrium and non-equilibrium plasmas in the presence of externally applied magnetic or electric fields. The experimental techniques employed were primarily those developed previously for work with high temperature gases, but extended to accommodate the non-equilibrium plasma tests and improved to permit measuring shock speeds in gases other than air.
