PORTABLE INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY (PORT-A-LAB).

Abstract

Described is a compact laboratory (Port-A-Lab) designed to be easily and quickly transported by pick-up truck, railroad, ship, or air freight for use at serviced or unserviced test sites. The Port-A-Lab contains hand and machine tools, and instrumentation to record, reproduce and analyze shock, vibration, and other environmental data in the field. The facility has been used to provide information of immediate interest in the development of new weapons and laboratory environment simulation equipment. (Author)
