ONE-DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS OF A TRAVELLING WAVE ACCELERATOR.

Abstract

The one-dimensional unsteady interaction of a plasma with a magnetic wave field in a travelling wave accelerator is investigated numerically by solving the MGD basic equations in (B<<1)-approximation. Finally a one-dimensional analytical model for such a travelling wave acceleration is given being in good accordance with the numerical results. (Author)
