CONTINUOUS FACSIMILE SCANNER EMPLOYING FIBER OPTICS.
Abstract
The objectives of the program are the design and construction of an advanced development model of a continuous facsimile transmitter employing a fiber optics scanner. The performance of the modulator circuit was evaluated and the black-to-white ratio was determined for different lamp and modulator voltage levels. Pertinent design features of the prototype scanner are presented and discussed. (Author)
