MULTI-LEVEL SYSTEMS AND UNCERTAINTIES,
Abstract
A multilevel system theory and, particularly, the on-line coordination problem are discussed. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first part the intuitive concepts of the multilevel system theory are generalized and formulated mathematically. In the second part investigation is made of the on-line coordination of a multilevel system within the framework developed in the first part. Some properties of the decision-making under true uncertainty which are indispensable in the consideration of the on-line coordination problem of a multilevel system are discussed in the last part.
