REACTIVE INTERMEDIATES AND POTENTIAL CATALYSTS.

Abstract

A general method for the synthesis of sequence peptide polymers has been developed based on the preparation and polymerization of active esters such as H.Asp(OH) .Ser(H) .Gly.OC6H4NO2. Work on the identification and quantitative determination of products of benzoyl peroxide decomposition has been carried on. The reaction mechanisms have been investigated quantitatively with the aid of a computer program. (Author)
