RESEARCH ON THE THEORY AND DESIGN OF ACTIVE NETWORKS.

Abstract

The report gives a brief summary of the theoretical and experimental investigations undertaken during the contract period, and is concerned with the theory and design of active networks. Particular emphasis has been placed upon network transformation theory, realization of active networks by means of solid state components and acousto-electric interaction in piezoelectric semiconductors. Considerable attention has been devoted to experimental measurements on parametric diodes and cadmium sulfide single crystals. Some work on the electro-optical effect and electroacoustical transducers has also been performed. (Author)
