EXPLORATORY STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF PULSE DURATION ON TEMPORARY THRESHOLD SHIFT PRODUCED BY IMPULSE NOISE

Abstract

Human Ss were exposed to a series of impulses of variable duration. Pre- and post-exposure hearing was examined to determine the differential effect of pulse duration on temporary threshold shift. An apparently linear duration effect was observed.
