A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS NYCTICEBUS (MAMMALIA, LORISIDAE) FROM VIETNAM,

Abstract

This species, by its dimensions and coloration is, apparently, close to N. pygmaeus, from which it differs by its larger body size and more glistening golden coloration of the spine. The fur is also soft, but not wavy at all. The skull is particularly characteristic. As compared to N. coucang and N. pygmaeus, the occipital portion is considerably more thickened.
