THE FLAP LANGUAGE - A PROGRAMMER'S GUIDE.

Abstract

The guide is a presentation of the capabilities and operations of the language FLAP, a language written for the IBM 7090 that allows an analyst to handle symbolic mathematical data in a variety of ways. Examples involving polynomials, vectors, and matrices, as well as other forms of data, are given to illustrate how the language can be employed. (Author)
