NOTS DRAFTING GUIDE.
Abstract
The 'NOTS Drafting Guide' is a compilation of drawing practices in accordance with MIL-D-1000 (including its referenced documents) that interprets, illustrates, and explains the guidelines set forth in these documents and establishes methods of presentation preferred by the U. S. Naval Ordnance Test Station (NOTS) on procurement drawings and documents when the standards or guidelines offer multiple choices. The Guide is intended for use by engineers, draftsmen, and checkers in the preparation of drawings and associated documentation. Examples are given of drawings, sketches, diagrams, and engineering documentation.
