LUMINOSITY OF A SPECTROMETER WITH A FABRY-PEROD INTERFEROMETER.

Abstract

The energy flux produced by a spectrometer, with a Fabry-Perot interferometer incorporated, is evaluated. The conditions under which the luminosity of the spectrometer is maximum are determined. Of special interest is the case where the luminosity of the spectrometer is defined only by the parameters of the monochromator of preliminary dispersion or by the interferometer alone. (Author)
