INSTALLATION FOR TESTING COMPRESSORS AND TURBINES,

Abstract

A general-purpose test stand for studying the operation of compressors and turbines has been designed at the Scientific-Research Engine Laboratory of the Soviet Ministry of Transport Machine Building and considerable experience has been gained in its use. The test stand is designed for testing compressors and turbines, gas-turbine and turboprop engines, and also gas-turbine engine combustion chambers. A description of the use of this test stand and its operating features is given. (Author)
