SELF-REPAIR TECHNIQUES INVESTIGATION.

Abstract

The objective of this investigation was the assimilation and development of a compatible set of techniques which can be used to design and construct self-repairing digital systems. The technique stressed is that of spares (or repair) switching. This phase of the project was devoted to error detection and correction of different types of central memories via coding and spare switching. Also included is the application of residue coding to the division process. (Author)
