THE SURC A6A HYBRID SIMULATION.

Abstract

The report is intended to indicate the status of the SURC A6A hybrid simulation effort at the close of fiscal year 1966. The simulation hardware consists of three computers, several interface units and some special high-speed peripheral equipment. Once operational, the simulation complex will enable us to 'fly' the ASQ-61 DIANE system in real-time while gathering and processing data. In addition, the ASQ-61 will be under the control of an elaborate program in the UNIVAC 1206, providing such properties as loading the ASQ-61 drum in seconds, modifying the program (partial load), and diagnosing or testing the ASQ-61. At this writing, the system is only partly operational. (Author)
