THE DERIVATION OF THE TRANSFER FUNCTION OF A SYSTEM FROM FREQUENCY RESPONSE DATA.

Abstract

A method is described whereby the transfer function of a system is derived from experimental frequency response data which have been obtained from tests on the system. The results and data are used to estimate the magnitude of errors in the calculated transfer function coefficients. A computer program using this theory has been written and some results using this program are given. (Author)
