PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL DATA FOR PUGET SOUND AND APPROACHES JANUARY 1962-DECEMBER 1963.

Abstract

The report is a tabulation of physical and chemical oceanographic observations made at various locations in Puget Sound and its approaches by the University of Washington Department of Oceanography, using the research vessels MV Brown Bear and Hoh and various chartered boats. These observations were made during the two-year period from January 1962 through December 1963. Charts show the positions of stations sampled. Values for temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and inorganic phosphate, as determined by use of accepted oceanographic procedures, are given at selected depths from the surface to the bottom.
