FEASIBILITY STUDY OF PAD TO PRESSURIZE FLAME WEAPON,

Abstract

The report describes the feasibility study conducted on a solid propellant pressurization system for charging the air sphere of the M9-7 Flame Thrower. This was not feasible with the propellants investigated. Limited tests were also conducted in which the napalm fuel tank of the E-36 Flame Thrower was successfully pressurized directly without cooling the propellant gas. (Author)
