EVALUATION OF 4-WAY HYDRAULIC RAMP,

Abstract

An analysis was made of the structural design, functional characteristics, flexibility in application and safety in operations of a 4-way hydraulic ramp for highway carrier loading operations. The 4-way hydraulic ramp was found to be satisfactory for its intended function. The flexibility of the 4-way adjustable feature of the ramp can be used advantageously in most truck terminal operations, especially when the operation is of sufficient scope to utilize full application of material handling equipment for loading and unloading.
