LIVE-FIRE SCORING SYSTEM STUDY.

Abstract

The report is divided into two sections, one dealing with miss-distance indicators and the other with hit detection. Discussions of existing and proposed techniques are given, and the specific applications to CDCEC problems considered. Acoustic techniques of shock-wave measurement were selected for experimental investigation as miss-distance indicators. The mathematical analysis and experimental results are given in Appendices A and B. Problems of shock-wave-arrival-time systems are analyzed in Appendix C. (Author)
