EVALUATION OF BEVERAGE RECONSTITUTING AND DISPENSING DEVICE.

Abstract

A beverage reconstituting and dispensing device, consisting of an electrically operated agitator and impeller pump built into the cover of a 10-gallon milk can, was evaluated for Navy shipboard use. Laboratory and shipboard tests indicated that the device was satisfactory and it is recommended for adoption with several minor modifications which are needed to improve sanitation. One machine is capable of dispensing approximately 15 servings per minute of various beverages used by the Navy.
