EFFECT OF PLAGUE TOXIN ON THE ALDOLASE ACTIVITY OF THE LIVER AND BLOOD SERUM OF ANIMALS,

Abstract

The intra-abdominal introduction of the toxin of the plague microbe in white mice is accompanied by an increase in the aldolase activity of the liver and blood serum. The toxin of the plague microbe does not cause similar changes in the liver and serum of guinea pigs. In tests in vitro the toxic extract did not influence the aldolase activity of the liver of white mice. (Author)
